Back in 2016 i made a quick run of shirts for sale at a local pop up hockey event. These shirts showcased a character called Kid Hockey. I wanted to have a throwback character from comics influenced by the 1930's or golden age of comics era. A simple beat up looking character that was all smiles. He was an instant hit in the hockey community. From there i sat on the idea for a while until i decided that character needed to be fleshed out and have a more well rounded crack at it. Being a lifelong hockey player, and artist I thought this would be an awesome character to sink my teeth into, so Kid Hockey began his journey to where he is today.
